Hampshire’s very own Tamsin Egerton plays an all-American girl in Love, Rosie. Happily her Hollywood boyfriend Josh Hartnett was glad to lend a hand.
“My boyfriend’s American so that helped and I feel I can genuinely do the accent now,” she tells Mandrake at the film’s premiere at the Odeon West End. “He is a harsh critic, so he’ll tell me quite quickly if I’ve got it wrong.”
Although the couple – who have been courting for more than two years – have no immediate plans to settle down, Tamsin did get a glimpse into motherhood while filming. “It didn’t make the final cut, but I had my first ever childbirth scene,” she says. “I got to give birth in a bath, all alone.”
