BUNRAKU: ASIAN PREMIERE SLATED FOR MUMBAI FILM FESTIVAL 2010

According to DNA INDIA, BUNRAKU will be showcased at Mumbai Film Festival 2010.

The 12th edition of the Mumbai Film Festival is a melting pot of the very best of cinema from around the world. Organized by Mumbai Academy of Moving Image (MAMI), a body comprised of Indian film industry stalwarts which was founded in 1997 by late filmmaker Shri Hrishikesh Mukherjee, the 12th edition of the festival is scheduled from October 21 to October 28, 2010 in Mumbai, the film capital of India. A Reliance Big Entertainment initiative Mumbai Film Festival has the distinction of being the only international film festival in India to be organized by an independent body of practicing film professionals. Offering something to every film buff, the Festival is divided into five sections viz. International Competition for the First Feature Films of Directors, World Cinema, Indian Frame, Dimensions Mumbai and Retrospectives. Jane Campion, Academy Award winner, Hollywood-based filmmaker, screen writer and producer will be the President of the Jury.
