What An Experience!
This final photos is of me (in the middle), Rosario, and a fellow PA. This is probably the only serious picture I took with Rosario. Every other one was with crazy faces! What an experience.

On The Set With Gena Rowlands
Me and Gena Rowlands! I made sure she was comfortable as the crew set up the shot. She was and is a kind and classy woman!

Film Crew Dining at The Whitney in Detroit
The film crew really enjoyed dining at The Whitney in Detroit. We shot there for a night and were fed our meal there. We felt out of place amongst the fanciness, but we made due!

On The Set Experiences - Parts Per Billion
I was the First Team PA on this film called Parts Per Billion. I was in charge of Exhibit G's and Production Reports and getting the actors to and from set. Every morning I would be waiting for them at the hotel where they would go through make up and wardrobe. I always updated the second AD of their progress and alert him when we were leaving for set. I was also in charge of making sure the actor's holding area was comfortable and I'd send them from the holding area to set when called. The actors in this film included Gena Rowlands, Frank Langella, Rosario Dawson, Josh Hartnett, Penn Badgley, Teresa Palmer, and Alexis Bledel. They were all incredibly kind and easy to work with. I got very lucky in that regard! I made my fair share of mistakes dealing with the Exhibit G's and the Production Reports but it only taught me lessons. I also had my share of being screamed at. I believe that straight out of school, you should be a Production Assistant on at least a handful of features. It humbles you and reminds you that you're still green. I made a lot of friends on this shoot and really had an amazing time. Always be on top of your game and remember that even if it's not your fault, fix the problem! Stay out of the way but do a great job. Being a PA sounds and is rather unglamorous, but being one gives invaluable lessons and a better understanding of each department.
On Location at The DMC
During the first week of filming we were on location at DMC Hospital. Pictured you see the Director, the First AD, the First AC (Sebastian Boada, former MPI student), the DP, and the head make up woman.
