Dublin International Film Festival 2019: Josh Hartnett, Stephen Merchant and more to walk the red carpet

Pearl Harbour hearthrob Josh Hartnett  will walk the red carpet for the world premiere of She’s Missing by Irish writer and director Alexandra McGuinness. 

The Office  co-creator Stephen Merchant  will also be in town for the premiere of his new movie, Fighting With My Family which stars and was produced by Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson.

The festival will also showcase Ireland's top and emerging talents, kicking off with the national premiere of Papi Chulo from homegrown director John Butler, which stars Magic Mike's Matt Bomer and  Alejandro Patiño .

BAFTA Rising Star Award nominee Jessie Buckley from Killarney will launch her new film  Wild Rose - which also stars Julie Walters and  Hotel Rwanda ’s  Sophie Okonedo - at the festival's closing gala.

Other new Irish features include Neil Jordan’s psychological thriller Greta, which stars Kick-Ass’  Chloë Grace Moretz  and César Award-winning French actress Isabelle Huppert and black comedy Dark Lies The Island by Kevin Barry which stars Pat Shortt, Charlie Murphy and Tommy Tiernan.
