Ida Red 2021

Ida Red is the upcoming crime drama film written and directed by John Swab and starring Josh Hartnett, Melissa Leo and Frank Grillo. The world premiere will be at the Locarno Film Festival on August 11, 2021.

The film will tell the story of criminal Ida “Red” Walker (Leo) who struggles with a terminal illness and may not survive a 25-year prison sentence in Oklahom for armed robbery. She will lean on her son Wyatt Walker (Hartnett) who supports the family business, alongside his uncle, Dallas Walker (Grillo).
