Josh Hartnett on 'Penny Dreadful,' turning down Batman and heartthrob status

He's set teen hearts racing when he burst onto the Hollywood scene in films like The Virgin Suicides, Pearl Harbor and Black Hawk Down, and today, actor Josh Hartnett stopped by The Social to talk about his latest role in the hit psychological thriller Penny Dreadful.

During his visit, Josh dished on his character, Ethan Chandler – a Victorian-era ladies’ man with a dark past, the challenges of being labelled a sex symbol and why he has yet to jump on the social media band wagon.
