Josh Hartnett will star in acclaimed writer Robert Harris' adaptation of 'The Fear Index'.

Hartnett will play Dr. Alex Hoffman, a computer scientist and genius, who is ready to launch a new artificial intelligence, but his plans backfire. Leila Farzad, Arsher Ali and Grégory Montel complete the cast.

Paul Andrew Williams and Caroline Bartleet are the screenwriters for the adaptation, while Irish director David Caffrey directed the project's four episodes.
