New Book Goes Behind the Scenes of Penny Dreadful

LONDON: Titan Books has announced The Art and Making of Penny Dreadful, the official companion book to Showtime's supernatural period drama series Penny Dreadful.

The 176-page hardback book, penned by Sharon Gosling, unveils secrets from the show and production details. There are exclusive interviews with creator and executive producer John Logan; exec producer Sam Mendes; and supervising producer Chris King; as well as key crew members and the main cast. There are also previously unseen images from the making of the series.

The Art and Making of Penny Dreadful is under license by CBS Consumer Products. It is slated to become available for purchase on April 17, 2015.

Set in Victorian London, Penny Dreadful features a number of classic horror literature's most iconic characters, including Doctor Victor Frankenstein, Dorian Gray and figures from Dracula. The program stars Josh Hartnett, Timothy Dalton and Eva Green.
