SINGULARITY: MORNING COFFEE WITH JOSH HARTNETT...

Guess what and who I saw today? Seriously.....

I was walking to my place of work this morning past the city Botanical Gardens and saw something that looked quite interesting, so I decided to have a bit of a nosy. I worked out that it was some kind of a film set and just thought that it would be some student group working on an assignment.... I do work at a University.
As I got closer I thought to myself "rather big budget student assignment" (!) and then realised that I was walking straight through a real movie shoot - oops!

The (younger) girls at work soon put me right and told me that Josh Hartnett was filming a movie called 'Singularity' at Government House. A bit of excitement for a work morning?

So when it came to caffeine hit time, I had to walk past again to get to the coffee shop - and there he was, in full costume. So...OK I didn't actually have morning coffee with Josh Hartnett... but I did walk past him holding my take away skinny flat white!

I was way too chicken busy to go star hunting again, so the girls took my camera (that now permanently comes with me wherever I go) and took a few shots of the action.

Christmas party weekend on the Coast
IT was Chirstmas party central on the Gold Coast at the weekend and CC headed along to four of the hottest around town.
The buff and toned guys and girls from Fenix Fitness dressed up in retro gear for a night out at Melbas in Surfers Paradise.
There were certainly no weights being lifted on the night, and the only muscles being worked were when they lifted their drinks from the bar to their mouths.
Across the road at Temple Lounge bar the beautiful people from Promotional Models Australia (PMA) and the Australian Sports Nutrition (ASN) mixed and mingled.
Owners Kerrie Rees and Jane Cornes were surrounded by VIPs, while the team from Williams Talent also had a line-up of big names at their party in Broadbeach.
Ryan Goding, David Whitehill, Christie lee Sharpe were there and Madonna Williams even managed to score an appearance from Hollywood star Josh Hartnett.
Although it was completely by chance that the actor was at Lauxes enjoying dinner, it's nice to pretend he was on the guest list.
Actors Hugh Parker and Georgina Gillings received lifeline awards in the Wogies (a rip off of the Logies), an award won in the past by the likes of Wally Lewis and Lincoln Lewis.
Oscar Oscar employees also gathered for drinks at Room 81 dressed in black glamour.
Everywhere you looked there were good looking people with absolutely stunning hair styles -- you would expect nothing less at an event for hairdressers.

Bipasha Basu is being pampered on the sets of her English film Singularity directed by Roland Joff and co-starring Josh Hartnett The actress has been put up at the Palazzo Versace on the main beach of the Gold Coast, a hotel with the signature style and design from the House of Versace.

Bipasha Basu is housed in a condominium in one of the world's first fashion-branded hotels, known for its luxurious surroundings and beauty. According to a source, the actress asked to be put up at this particular hotel.

Getting her way Says an insider, "Everyone from the cast and crew are staying at different places. Roland and Bipasha are in condos while Josh is at a place on the Broad Beach, as he didn't want to be at the hotel. Bips made her preference known and she got her way."

Her condo includes a living room, master bedroom, attached guest room and guest bathroom. The source discloses, "It has all the amenities of an apartment including a kitchen and enjoys the hotel facility of house keeping as well. Through the day, Bips is on sets and only has dinner at the condo. There's a chef to cook special meals for her. Though she is not on any particular diet, she is particular about what she eats."

Apart from her luxurious surroundings, the actress is slogging it out on the sets, "It's hectic, as the day starts from 5 am and goes on till 6 pm. Tuesday was her first day of the second schedule. She is enjoying the new experience. She is training horse-riding and swimming at the moment and has to start to learn sword fighting and fencing."
