Real talk: should we shut down Absolute Josh Hartnett?

Real talk: should we shut down Absolute Josh Hartnett?
We need your answer in the comment area below today.

The site has been very quiet lately. Folks are not posting much content, and there is not a lot of discourse happening.

Keeping it running costs money and time. Hosting is not free, there is a community platform fee, and it takes effort to maintain the site.

Comment below (in the comment area):
Should we keep the site alive, or should we close it?
Even a one-line comment helps: “Keep it” or “Close it” (and tell us why).

If you have content ready (art, edits, photos, throwbacks, polls), please post it now. If you want Absolute Josh Hartnett to stay online, we need to see activity.

Tiny heads-up: community sites have ongoing hosting and platform fees, plus the time it takes to keep things running smoothly. Your posts and comments are what keep it alive.

I really hope we can keep the site but I understand the concerns.

I just wanted to say that I really hope you don’t decide to close the page. Even if it may feel quiet at times, that doesn’t mean people aren’t there. Many of us read, follow, and rely on this page as a reference for everything related to Josh, especially because it’s always up to date and carefully curated.

Pages like this often mean much more than likes or comments — they become a place people check regularly, even if they don’t always interact.

I also wanted to share a thought, just as an idea. Maybe the page doesn’t need to be the main place for daily interaction anymore. It already works as a solid reference point — a place fans know they can come to for accurate, up-to-date information about Josh.

Perhaps starting an Instagram account and linking it to this page could help. Instagram naturally gets more day-to-day engagement, and that’s where conversations and interaction could really happen. This page could then remain active in a different way — staying updated, serving as an archive and a reliable hub — even if it’s quieter in terms of comments or posts.

I truly believe this page still has a lot of value and visibility, even when it feels silent. It’s a reference many fans trust, and it would be a shame to lose that.

Thank you for the time, effort, and care you put into running this page. It really does matter more than you might think.
