John Hartnett gently caressed his girlfriend's cheek as he and British model Tamsin Egerton waited to check in at Los Angeles International Airport on Friday.

The couple, who have been dating since August 2012, were casually dressed for their five-hour flight.

The 25-year-old showed off her beautiful legs in black skinny jeans tucked into black boots, which she teamed with a black and brown leather jacket over a black T-shirt.

She accessorised with two large leather bags, one in brown and the other in black to match her outfit.

And Tamsin put her shapely derriere on display when she bent over a counter.

The blonde pulled her hair back into a ponytail and didn't appear to be wearing much in the way of make-up, allowing her natural beauty to shine through.

The Penny Dreadful star's only pop of colour came from the blue, red and black bag he carried.

The 36-year-old was clean shaven and his dark hair was neatly cut. 

There were more public displays of affection when the pair arrived in New York, with the blonde gazing lovingly up at her 6ft 3in beau who had donned a black beanie, before a waiting limo whisked them away. 

Josh stars as charming marksman Ethan Chandler in Penny Dreadful, based upon the lurid horror fiction popular in the Victorian era.

The show is scheduled to make its second series premiere on Showtime on May 5.
