We're officially putting a moratorium on the question "what ever happened to Josh Hartnett?"… He’s back, already, people!

Sure, the Black Hawk Down actor took a break from Hollywood, but now he’s doing things like starring in Showtime’s horror series Penny Dreadful and taking on the leading-man role in movies, like this one, The Lovers.

The film is a time-bending love epic. And judging from the exclusive trailer here, The Lovers is reminiscent of both the magical, Oscar-winning Life of Pi and the 1980 Christopher Reeve starrer Somewhere in Time (remember him obsessively rubbing that old penny to transport himself to the past?).

The Lovers, also starring Bollywood superstar Bipasha Basu, is available on VOD Feb. 13 and enters theaters March 13.
